Tork lands at Starbucks in China
Today when you walk into some Starbucks outlets in China, you will not only find the very popular Starbucks Green Tea Frappachino, nice muffins and scones but also Tork. From the beginning of the year, Tork supplies Starbucks with Tork napkins for 150 outlets located in North China and South China.
Cutting napkin consumption
Earlier on, napkins were put into a stack on cabinet at Starbucks 
outlet with no dispenser, which caused a wasteful over-consumption. “We offer Starbucks a much more cost-efficient and anti-waste solution, which helps cut napkin consumption by at least 20%,” says Vincent Jin, Key Account Manager, AFH China.
Understanding of the customers’ needs and a good balance between service quality and cost-in-use for the customer was one key driver to win the deal. In addition, SCA's efforts in sustainability were other key drivers for the successful landing.

350 outlets in 26 cities
Since 1999, Starbucks, the world’s biggest coffee-shop chain, has opened more than 350 outlets in 26 cities in China mainland and has become the most popular coffee shop brand among Chinese white-collars aged between 25 and 40.
